Marion is a painter in the realist tradition working in watercolor, oil ,and pastel. Raised in the upper Midwest, she was a scholarship student at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, and in recent years has taken numerous workshops with artists of national renown. She has been an award-winning participant in many juried art shows in the United States, has had several one-woman shows, and is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor Society and the Texas Watercolor Society. She has had paintings in the Top 100 show at Arts for the Parks, winning the Region III award in 2000, the Region I award in 2004, and the Grand Prize in 2006."
